was busy, but oh so fun!
Thursday, the kids and I met up with some friends and went to Monkey Island, then Ally was off swimming and sleeping over at a friends.
Friday, I babysat this cutie along with his brother and sister.
Saturday we went straight to Seven Peaks in the morning and it was great because it wasn't busy and we got to ride the slides a ton of times. Then it was Cafe Rio for lunch, and back home for nap time.
That afternoon we decided to pull the sprinklers out for the kids.
Sunday, for Pioneer Day we went to our friends house for a bbq and fireworks.
Happy Pioneer Day!!!

Eating Chicken by the Chickens
It's Cow Appreciation Day, and that means if you dress like a cow you get a free meal at Chick-Fil-A. We LOVE Chick-Fil-A, so we couldn't pass this up.
So I dressed up my cuties, and let them color some masks and they got free meals.
We also planned to meet friends at the Thanksgiving Point Farm, so we took our food there and ate at a picnic table in front of the chickens... isn't that disturbing?
We had a lot of fun at the farm!
July 4th... no 5th... no...
So, we tried to celebrate the 4th of July. First off, Ally was in Fish Lake so we tried to do a few small fireworks with Devin, but it started raining, and we decided to do them all the next day when Ally was home. (we also had Cafe Rio for dinner, do you think that is unAmerican?)
So we got ready to do our fireworks on the 5th. Ally invited her best friend, Morgan, to sleepover and watch the fireworks. We actually did a few fireworks.
See, crazy Alex with this firework? When he was doing that Devin shouted out, "Put it down you Moron!" Ok, I had to tell him not to use that word, because obviously it's just not nice. He learned it from the movie Cars... but inwardly I was laughing my head off, because it was so flippin' funny!
But sadly it started to rain again. We powered through it sprinkling, but when the heavy rain hit we had to end it.
(there was a couple of very disappointed girls from the rain).
It has actually rained every night since, so we are going to save our fireworks for Pioneer Day, July 24th... hopefully we will get clear weather this day!

Slacker
I have been a total and complete slacker. We have done SO many fun things that I should have a million pictures of... but I have no excuse, I am just lazy and missed too many opportunities.
Here are a few I did get.
First off, we went up to Willard Bay. We went swimming at the lake and even visited Lagoon for a day. It was a blast! Here are a few things I actually did take pictures of:
We had electricity at this campspot, which meant we got to use the microwave, air conditioner and yes, even the t.v....
I wish I would have got some swimming pictures at the lake, the kids had a blast!
We came home for a few days and then it was off to Fish Lake for the 4th of July weekend, only a couple of pictures here too:
There was 26 of us all up there, here is most of the group:
And here is a cute picture of Kaylee, Emily and Ally.
My niece Emily (in the middle) made the skirts for the three girls. Cute, huh?
The fun ended quickly there, though. The very first night, we were up with Devin all night with a fever. He continued to get worse the next day, so we packed up and went home the next evening. Luckily we made it home before he started throwing up. We left Ally with my parents to have fun, though.
On the way home we saw this and had to stop to let Devin see one of his heros:
