Wow, that pregnancy ticker is a heart attack waiting to happen!

I just peeked at the ticker above and it says I have 64 days left until my due date... but since my c-section is scheduled for 6/26, I really only have 59 days left. Wow, deep breaths. Somedays I feel like I have been pregnant longer than an elephant, but when I see I have less than 2 months left I feel slightly panicked! If I want to cause myself a bigger panic attack I can remember that Devin came 4 weeks early and that would give me just over a month left... but let's not think about that. This little girl is going to stay put until the end of June, because I don't want to worry about lung maturity and all of the other problems that can come with a premie. We have decided on her name to be Aja... you pronounce it just like the continent "Asia". We are still undecided about her middle name, but at least we can call her by name instead of "baby". My kids are so sweet when they talk about her! Ally is dieing with excitement for her to come. She reminds me all the time that if she were to come now, she would live. Ummmm, no thanks honey, this girl has got to make it to full term!!! Devin talks about Aja all the time, but I don't think he really gets it. He doesn't understand that he can't look under my shirt and see her. They are both sweet about kissing and hugging my tummy. So, even if I am a little frightened that it is coming so quick, we are all excited to meet her!!!

Easter and Spring Break at Arches National Park

We had to book our campspot in October in order to get a place for Spring Break. At the time, I didn't know I would be pregnant so it sounded perfect. Even though I didn't get to hike as much as I would have liked I still had a great time and so did my family!

We got there On Saturday, and Easter was the following day, so we got to have Easter and hunt eggs in the beautiful red rocks of Arches National Park.

It's a lot more fun to hunt eggs in rocks then in your backyard!

And then there was all the glorious hiking!

Monday morning we planned to hike to Delicate Arch. This one is my favorite, and I really wanted to do it. It is only 3 miles round trip, but it is pretty much straight up for the first half. A 28 weeks pregnant woman is probably not an ideal candidate for this hike, and believe me I got lots of stares and a few comments about it. But if my 67 year old dad and my 3 year old son could do it, I was going to too. It wasn't easy...

But these two, sure make it a lot of fun...

And the view when you finally get there, is undescribeable!!!

The next few days were filled with... more hiking. :o)

We had a campfire to roast hotdogs and marshmallows, and Grandma gave them glow sticks that they pretended to were swords and fought each other as pirates.

The next day was followed by even more hiking.

And on this hike we found an impromptu spot, to get some pictures of my two favorite cuties!

Aren't they just gorgeous? Even though she has dark hair/green eyes and he is blonde with blue/grey eyes I think they look similar... it's fun to imagine what their little sister will look like.

We had so much fun! We definitely want to go back... when I am NOT pregnant, of course!

Hogle Zoo

A few weeks ago my friend visited from Idaho, so we took our kids to the zoo. The weather was slightly cool, but made the animals very active and that was really fun to see!

Devin and I really miss Nicole and her kids since they moved, but at least they come visit often!

Our frequent visitors

Has it really been almost 2 months since I posted? Sigh, I can barely get my house clean, let alone post!

Our neighbors dogs had cute puppies, and they have learned every trick in the book to sneak under, through and around the fence to come to our house. My kids love it, but their little "surprises" they keep leaving in the back yard are not my favorite! Luckily they are big enough now not to squeeze through but it sure provided a month of fun for my kids!

I have sure been enjoying the Spring weather that we have been getting! I love sending my kids outside for hours at a time to play!
