We decided to take the weekend and go camping with my parents in Granite Flats above Timpanogos. The weather was so beautiful and we had a great time... except for Devin deciding he didn't like sleeping and ending up sleeping with us at night... that was the only bad part.
We took some walks and did a little hiking.
Alex was trying to be Bear Grylls and "tried" to start a fire with sticks, Devin thought it was pretty cool and had to try it too.
He also made this to help start the fire... Ally thought it was better to practice her archery with.
We built campfires at night and of course had to have smores!
This picture makes me laugh... it really is marshmallow that is hanging down.
Devin wanted to turn his chocolate milk into hot chocolate...
Luckily, Grandma and Grandpa were there to stop him.
I am SO not ready for the cold weather to come and end all of the fun. I am also VERY greatful Alex isn't working retail any more and we get holiday weekends.
